| I found those in a local toyshop today: Ravensburger tiptoiThey have a microship or something below the yellow spot. with a special "pen", they tell you something about them,.....that's why they're a little expensive. But quite nice. The lion is a pretty nice figurine to rework, the leopard is really good, same with the crocodile and even rhino and elephant. Common species but nice candidates for a makeover,.... Unfortunately, the illustration on the website make them look worse than they actually are. Much better proportions and details as e.g. (real?;-p) Schleich. |

| Interesting find, they seem very "major brand inspired." Thanks for sharing! |

| Not yet. Have to think about which ones are worth paying a lot wor a rework job. Indeed, the rhino is very good. Especially as the head isn't too big as some of the other models existing. It could eben be repainted a Diceros bicornis michaeli i think. The Giraffes are really nice too although i concentrated on Croc, Lion etc. |

| They don't look half bad. If anyone buys them please post pics of them. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thanks for these extra pictures, they actually look much better in these pictures then in those we can see at the website. Agree also with you that the rhino has fantastic proportions for a black rhino, small head, short ears, tall legs and apparently, not excessively bulky. I really like the rhino though the spot is a minus for me. - @widukind wrote:

Thanks Andreas, unfortunately we cannot see the rump patch or it would be much easier to identify it. The shape of the horns really doesn't fit perfectly those from an impala. Though still have some doubts too! |

| it's actually not a problem to remove the spot.I just did,...repainting is the biggest effort although the grey of the rhino should be more simple to cover. So ana: You should have a try to "michaeli" one;-p |
