Does anyone know which are the horses on the Schleich covered wagon 2007

I've recently bought on ebay the 42024 Schleich covered wagon from the wild west series.
When I got the item I noticed that the original horses from the catalogue picture had been replaced by a Lippizzaner Mare and a Black Forest Mare.

I can't figure out which are the original horses from the wagon set. Are they exclusive figures to this set ?
A repaint of some previous issued horses ? Which ones ?

Please some Schleich specialists help !

The original horses are two Schleich horses with new painting. They're the Holstein mare and old Trakehner mare. Holstein has some kind of chestnut? color and the Takehner is painted pinto. Congrats on the wagon, such a shame the parcel didn't include those beautiful original horses. You can find a photo of them if you search google, I'm sorry I can't add any photos cos I'm using my phone. Hope that was helpful, a bit at least =)

Yes such a shame, and I guess the odds of finding those original horses loose on sale are quite small.

Yes it might be, and some people want a big money for them. I still encourage you to try to find them, somebody even on this forum might have them! I'm still looking for them myself so good luck to both of us

These two horses are often auctioned on eBay.de, usually separately.

Ah, I was about to make some pictures, I don't think it's needed anymore?

I have them. My favorite schleichy's! The first one is the holstiener mare painted with a roan coloring. The second the holstiener mare with a liver bay tobiano coloring.

I also have them and the color is very better than the regular ones.

Definintely more detailed! And the holstiener mare looks great in pleasure!
