Please help with horse breeds, horsey people, for model horse show! :)

I'm going to my first model horse show at the end of this week, and I need help with horse breeds!

Horsey people, your assistance is appreciated!

Here are the ones I'm unsure about. Please let me know what breed (or mixed breed - this is allowed in the show also) you think fits best for each horse!

8 is Thoroughbred, 10 is Lusitano, and 12 is Quarter Horse for sure :)

I wish you a wonderful day at the show ! It will be interesting to hear about your impressions .
When I first heard about these model horse shows, with prizes and all, I thought it rather strange.
But I begin to see that it can be a lot of fun  

I also wish you a good day and luck with your participants  

I agree with Susanne, I thought of this kind of horse shows as 'strange'.. But the thing is I don't know really what it's all about  But it's a show where your brings chosen models from your horse model collection, and then they'll be ecvaluated if it was a real show with breeds and stuff .. But what if someone else brings a model similar to yours? Are they then looking at the colour differences or paint, which can still vary from model to model?

If I participated with Princess I fear for her, not getting any prize at all. Ok, maybe a cuteness prize, and then I'll be accused of genetic manipulation corrupting the breed

That depends if it's entered in the same class, to start. On every horse, the judges will look at things such as seams, the paint (is it even, scratched, et cetera), and the breed information your provide about the horse. If you bring in a model that looks mostly like an Arabian, but the person that brings the same model as you did, and enters it in the same class as a Quarter (they would be eliminated anyway, as Arabians and Quarters have their own classes, but just as an example), you would most likely place above the other person because your breed is better.

At least that's what I understand from my research. I hope to be able to share photos - I'm planning on taking a lot!
