Roger,thanks for the Info

can you tel me if there are any prehistoric mammals for 2014
i had never heard anything from James

pitty,,he wanted me to help him out,but i never heard of him any more

martien
Martien, no other manager or company is so close to us, collectors, than it is James and Mojo. I was also a long time not contacting him. We have to understand that a certain point is ahrd to keep in touch with everybody, myself included, behind these toys there is a lot of work and managers and designers turn easily in very busy persons as long as the brand is turning best known.
The line was reorganized, I guess, prehistoric mammals I really don't have information about them but I think one of the new figures will join that series.
Also, with all delays with new prehistoric mammals, they're almost being launched in 2014.
It seems also that 2015 will have an important focus on prehistoric life but I really cannot confirm.
What I am sure is that all these wonderful 2013 prehistoric mammals are arriving soon and they'll be very appreciated among collectors of prehistoric creatures. Very Happy

Andreas, it is obvious you're used with numbers, as they're not many, I think 8 weeks are enough! study cheers
Martien, 2013 prehistoric mammals are ready, they'll arrive in shops soon though I cannot be sure. They're taking too long to arrive but surely it will worth the wait. Very Happy

That means 24 figures?
Not so many, but I think that's Ok for a so young brand. Smile

I don't have a basilosaurus in my list of Mojo 2014 releases, I suspect it is planed to be designed during 2014 and released in 2015, though I am speculating it from the comments here posted, nothing official. :)

No, but I am sure the prehistoric line is not extinct. :)
I missed your comment about the nuclear thing. In Portuguese language it means something that is very important, fundamental, crucial, of a central importance. Sometimes is not easy for a not English talking person to get all these words correctly. Though, according with Scott, it looks it can assume this meaning, unless in a metaphorical way. Very Happy

So, are the releases going to be regular? For example, one every Sunday, Teusday, and...? or more sporadically?

I am not sure it is exactly a prehistoric figure although it will be displayed with prehistoric collection. Very Happy
I don't have a list of figures being retired but I suppose it is a short list, mostly with those that will be replaced like the lioness. As soon as I ahve it I'll share with all of you. Very Happy

I am sure that those figures you mentioned Duck-Anch-Amun are probably kind of hard to make so that they meet safety standards. It may be a few years yet until they are able to produce those.

Yeah You may be right Wink
But when I saw what our forum has voted for Mojo 2013 http://sts-forum.forumieren.de/t3491p345-our-choices-for-mojo-2013, the company has already made a lot of our choices Very Happy
And it seems, that CollectA is also looking in this thread Razz

- CollectA released 3 (Cassowary, Markhor, Mouflon)

from Afrika top 5:
- Mojo: Honey Badger

Asia top 5:
- Mojo: Clouded Leopard, Gaur
- CollectA: Markhor

Birds top 5:
- Mojo: /
- CollectA: Cassowary

Europe top 5:

- CollectA: Mouflon

North America top 5:
- Mojo: Pronghorn, Puma
- CollectA: /

Monkeys top 5:
- Mojo: Proboscis Monkey

Yes, not wanting to exagerate how influent is our forum. Since this previous poll started, the diversity of animals has exploded. bom
The absolute winner, the sable antelope, almost ignored until that day, was released by three brands in a total of 4 figures. Shocked
The first modern Iberian lynx, as far as I know, was also influenced by that thread.
From the final top10 Mojo released 5: Sable antelope, sun bear, clouded leopard, gaur and honey badger.
CollectA released sable and river hog.
Bullyland the Asian black bear and Safari again the sable antelope. Papo and Schleich ... ZERO!!! pale
It is missing bongo, siamang and serval. I think some brands will continue with unusual species and those who won't, will feel pressured if feedback about their repetitive range is not positive. arrow

Looking at the 2013 Mojo top 10, Bullyland made a Wisent, a fallow deer and Papo a Gharial, a mouflon and even a gibbon (ok it is not exactly a siamang).
I agree it is not a big wave but it is not completely repetitive. Wink

These new figures are very, very nice, as usual.  Wink
But... it seems there are a really few good news for me this year. Great part of the new releases are horses, dogs and farm animals which I don't collect, and some replacement (the Lion looks very good, I like it very much and I'll surely buy it, but it's a very common animal). My last year's wishlist was nearly twenty figures, but this year only Sun Bear and Lemur look really interesting to me for the moment, and there are only other seven figures to be revealed. Obviously I still have hope in the missing figures and I know I'll not be disappointed, but unfortunately in any case there will less number of figures I'll buy.  Neutral cyclops

There are quite a few left to reveal, though I don't know exactly how many. I'm guessing somewhere around 8-ish.

Missing 1 farm animal, 5 wild animals and some people. Very Happy
Diversity is not as excentric as last year but some great species still to be presented and in my opinion, general quality are very good even when we are talking about common animals. :)
Lions are good examples, mainly male, try to think how many lions were released last 20 years and how many of them are really good? If Mojo's is good as it looks we are probably presenting the born of a new reference on Toy Animal world. Very Happy

Sounds like some great figures are still on the way. I'm going to guess the people will mostly be more western type figures, their two Indians and ranchers are a little lonely.  Rolling Eyes Wink Can't wait to see what all the new figures are.
On another note, will all the figures be presented before Christmas? or before the new year starts?

Shocked I would love to see a thylacine from Mojo. That would be a dream come true. Anyways, at this point, anything from Mojo will probably be a great figure and a must have.  bounce I have to practice more on my patience....  Rolling Eyes

Laughing No Robert, no birds, no antelopes. :)
Joan, that is correct, the "half prehistoric" is actually a recently extinct mammal! cheers
This one will be presented soon, 21th, not long and we will know all Mojo 2014 releases. Very Happy
