Next friday Dresden will get a zoological sensation, after a long time the Koalas will arrive Dresden. So Dresden is the second zoo in Germany with Koalas. The animals comes from Zoo Duisburg, at the moment the one and only german zoo with that.Very Happy Very Happy

That is great that they can spread them in various zoos now. Makes them much more safe.
A while ago there was some bad illness threatening them in Australia. I hope it is over by now Shocked

Koalas are nice, but after I've seen them in so many collections in the Us and Japan ( almost EVERY Zoo there has a huge Koala House ! ), I'm really bored to seem them-and they are boring animals indeed.

Much more important than Koalas are the Quolls in european Zoos....

Zurich also have planed Koalas in their masterplan, with a few other australien and neuginean animals how tree kangoroohs
