| Today we just got 6 inches of snow! So I thought this would be the perfect day to to take some photos of Tundra Birds and mammals! First off: The Great Grey Owl spotted a lemming so it went in for the kill! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then a Snowy Owl sits quietly in the Arctic Tundra. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A pair of Reindeer prance in the snow: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A lone Caribou sits in the very deep snow looking for food. | 6 inches of snow in one day?! Wow! Your pictures came out great. It's always nice to see the animals in their natural environment. I like the one with the reindeers the best, the way the are in the corner of the picture. You can just imagine they still have a long way to travel. |

| Great photos The snowy owl looks awesome in the snow. I have a tip for the next snow photos, make some steps behind the animals. So it looks they really walked through the snow _________________ ~Karin~

| Those are truely great photoes The one with hte Bullyland owl is awesome ! But they are all wonderful shots The animals look very pleased with the snow, don't they ? I almost begin to long for snow I would never have thought I would, but it is just so dark and wet and sleepy weather here. No snow at all this winter, and very little sun....and the weather forecast just keeps saying : rain, rain, rain.... |

| Great photos!
We're supposed to be getting about 8-10 inches of snow here today. I'd also try to take some pictures, but I'm worried I'd just end up losing some figures. |

I would take snow pictures here but its 30 degrees outside and it melted all of it. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
