The new variations of the Mojo lynx and the leopard :-)

It can be very difficult to collect variations, when the only option is the net.
Especially new models, because almost all sellers just use a standard photo. And if you ask if it is a new variation, they have no idea.  

However with help from a good friend in Portugal, I am happy to be able to present the Mojo Leopard in his new clothes

My quest on the net has given me an extra moose, which is exactly the same as the old one, same goes for the African wild dog  

But I was fortunate to get the new lynx

I knew it wouldn't be long until our great variant-collector friend found Mojo variants! Congratulations Susanne! I'm sure you will find many more variants in the future.

Wow, nice! I have to admit that i prefer the old leopard and the new lynx! Btw.. i need this new links too, so whoever knows where someone sells this version: please let me know.

As you see, the picture is of the old one, but the actual model is the new one...you never know   

Now I am not sure if these new variants are better painted than the older ones. Generally, the painting was and is the weakest point of Mojo figures. Odd and very cheap looking painting on so great sculpts! From the economical point of view is there big progress visible in the terms of reducing the costs - see e.g. the inner parts of the leopards legs: number of black points on the front legs is reduced from 23 (old version) to 4 (new version) and on the back legs from 45 to 7... Not sure if less is better and more realistic   

If I see this kind of innovation, I am always asking: Mojo, do You ever see the painting of the Papo leopard?!

Your excelent pictures show perfectly how different are leopards. None of the versions is excelent and far from Papo version. For a diorama I think old version works better but individually, the new painting is more appealing and more convincent although it almost look jaguar spots.
The new lynx is also to simple but I recognize the painting is very smart, it gives a more feline and lynx looking to the figure. I hope to be able of getting that variation for me too.
