Last month i found this bird

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

it is a pitohui poison bird from a Medicom toy serie with mystical figurines (Ufo, alliens, Yeti....) but a poison pitohui exists in real

and this bird looks similar, but not like other japanese figurines very naturally. So what you think about this bird.

Would you this figurines integrate in your collection or looks he too much as a fantasy figurine?

I also love it, so if you don't need it you can send it either to Denmark or to Netherlands Laughing

Just kidding, I'm sure you like it too, it's beautiful figure! Congratulations! cheers

It's a lovely bird, but compared to real life Pitohui it does have some differences, you have spotted them as well no doubt.
Pitohui doesn't have the white ring around its eyes and its beak is black.
So it is not an exact copy of a Pitohui.
I don't think it looks like a fantasy bird though.  scratch

I guess it depends on you, Andreas.
How accurate do you want your birds to look?
It could go for a Pitohui. The shape of head and colours are good.
