Revival of Jim the Park Ranger !

From 2009 to 2014, Jim was carrying a black bear cub and had item no 226729.
Perhaps the bear became too heavy to carry, or prhaps it is no longer politcally correct to carry bear cubs around ?
Or perhaps Jim has become more forgetful with age, because he has exchanged the bear with a guide book ! He also changed the item no to 821329

As you see, the change MAY also be because Safari can save a bit on the paintwork

But unfortunately a book has another shape than a bear, so Safari has had to do some tricks to make it fit

I am trying to figure out what he is doing with his fingers with the book.

I think this figure looked much nicer with a bear, but why couldn't they replace it with a beer-actually only one letter to change

Very enjoyable and interesting! Jin is much nicer with the black bear than with the guide but that I think is consensual. I enjoy also black beer, as Ana is suggesting but only rarely I drink and of course in a moderate way. Waiting to see which figure will Safari recycle next time.

They are NOT the same figurine - one is Jim, the other is Joe, his identical twin brother (or maybe a CLONE?!?)...
