| It is a jaguar cub with leopard rosets! What means that your doubt is comprehensive and that your are observant and exigent with your figures. |

| He looks more Jaguar cub to me rather than leopard. Yes the spots look very leopard-ish but his general features (mainly his squarer head) says Jaguar to me. Especially when he's compared to the leopard cub. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Wow. I never noticed that before. I wonder if there is a variant in which he does have more jaguar-like spots. |

| Hard to tell, I have leopard + cub, jaguar + cub of Schleich and they are pretty the same. Jaguar has a bigger head, it seems, dot inside circles and darker mantle. Both the real adult and cub. The Schelich Jaguar cub has no dot inside circles. Darker mantle, anyway. |

| Hmm, that's strange What you have looks to be a jaguar cub: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The leopard cub is in a standing position: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All I can say is that what the manufacturer says is "they're hand painted and to expect variations".

| Jaguars have darker color in theese models, as I said (more orange) Maybe for the manufacturer it's enough to say they are Jaguars... maybe it's not that easy to make the differences between those two species. Anyway, Jaguar adult is bigger than leopard, at least in theese models. Cubs are really similar! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I understand that, just saying that they say to expect variations as they are hand painted. If they are like Safari Ltd. and have a group of people painting and each one does a different part of the figure (as I've seen from their youTube videos), they most likely aren't able to make each individual figure the same. |
