PostSubject: Nubian Goat   Mon Mar 17, 2014 1:16 am

I fancied the idea of adding a Nubian goat to my small farm and I see no current brands have one. How come there are no Nubian goats?  question

Ohh, yes ! A real, floppy-eared , colorful Nubian goat  cheers

I think that before CollectA and Mojo, the western brands were all playing it safe, and only making the most well known species.
Especially the farm animals .
Now we have the watusis, perhaps we should ask them to look at the goat breeds. I would love some funny chicken breeds, too  Very Happy

Until then, perhaps you should try your hands on customizing ?  bounce bounce

Schleich once had a Boer goat family (item numbers 13258, 13259 and 13260) in the program, which descended from the Nubian goat, I think. Perhaps, You could repaint this to Nubian goats Smile

I would love a Nubian ibex instead! Though, I must admit a Nubian goat would be a good idea once they're cute looking and probably atractive to children. Very Happy
Maybe CollectA, the brand with more diversity of farm animals. Very Happy

Please don't repaint such a Boergoat as a Nubian goat: these 2 species don't look similar! Boergoats are smaller, more heavy built and their ears are not as long as Nubian. The Nubians are the biggest goatspecies in the world.....
