Me too... Considering how beautiful and famous the flamingos are it's strange that almost none of the brands haven't take it it to their collections... Schleich has made some over-cute animals, but I think the birds have been pretty nice! Hope at least one of the Major brands really will do that Safari Ltd. and CollectA both have flamingos, Bullyland has or had made flamingos (I'm not sure if they're still in production or not). Papo doesn't have one either and I think their birds are also decent like Schleich's releases recently; but I think we need more of a variety, especially in the birds we don't commonly see in the major brand. |

Aha! I'm not sure I knew that.. But that's wonderful! Have to check 'em out! That's a good idea... Just need to wait when that will happen.. Maybe someone of our lovely artists can make us some flamingo _________________ Jonas Animals are my friends. I don't eat my friends. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Schleich should make more Australian and South American animals. For some reason, all the brands don't make much Australian animals. What's wrong with Australia??? |

I've noticed this also. Maybe the reason is because they only choose to make animals from those continents that would be easily recognizable for (as well as popular) kids? Such as the parrots for South America; kangaroos, koalas and pogona lizards for Australia. |

| I'm surprised Schleich made the Pogona Lizard. Most people in Australia do not know what a Pogona lizard looks like. A blue-tongue or a frilled-neck are more well known. Emu, koala, kangaroo, wombat, echidna, dingo, Thylacine, Tasmain Devil, Sulphur-crested cockatoo, kookaburra, platypus and blue-tongue lizard are Australia's most popular species. I'm sure kids in Europe know what a emu looks like, or any of these animals. The Thylacine is more recognisable as the Tasmanian Tiger. |

The pogona lizard (a.k.a bearded dragon) is very popular among kids (and adults) as pets. I really don't know then why Schleich never made any Australian animals, maybe because none are cute like the kangaroo and koala? |

| I thing it's time for a new poodle, maybe a tapir baby, and maybe some nice birds like a cockatoo or a flamingo. And maybe it's time for some new pedigree cats :) _________________ You can find all my repaints on facebook https://www.facebook.com/Luna-Löwenherz-Repaints

| DC Comics owns Batman, Superman etc. I think they'd sell well if Schleich made figures of them. :) - Maja-Maus wrote:

I agree with you. A poodle (or a poodle family) would be nice. And since the pedigree cat series was retired so long time ago, it would be nice to have them back in the line. Maybe in a smaller size than last time. Tapir baby would be so lovely, but I doubt they will make it, because the adult tapir was retired only recently. I'm also hoping for a caracal (though maybe Papo or Collecta would succeed better making one). _________________ Krista || zombiebambiraptor.blogspot.com

| I'm hoping for an Ermine to go with their other arctic animals. Maybe a new set of huskies would be nice since all but the one is retired now? It's not their best anyway. |

| So, first they need to reconsider if the person who modelled these new horses is the right person for the job or, at least, buy some horse anathomy books. I think it would be a money well spent. These are the horse breeds I would like to see: Kladrub horse Nonius Murgese Boulonnais Some super-heavy draft horse One of the Pasos Special edition of extinct horse breeds, such as: Naepolitano (there is a rebreeding program I think) Tarpan Spanish Jennet (there is a new registry and attempts of rebreeding) etc. (image not mine) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]As for other animals, maybe one of the european old-type cattle: (image from the Taurus project) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Have they ever made a Charolais calf and Charolais bull? How about an Australian Cattle Dog (Blue or Red Heeler)? I wish I could find CollectA in the US because their blue heeler looks awesome!
Those are my top wishes.
I too, would love to see as many cattle breeds as the horses but my opinion is biased. What about a Duroc sow, boar, and piglet? Or maybe a Spot pig family? I don't know of any other brands doing breeds of pigs. Papo had a Hampshire pig a few years back but again, Papo, CollectA, Safari, and Mojo, are next to impossible to find where I live in the state of Indiana! |

| The Charolais cow was released in 2006 as 13610. However, that does not mean they will not make the breed again. |

Hobby Lobby and Michael's both sell Safari Ltd. I'm pretty sure Hobby Lobby also sells Papo and Mojö. I don't know of any stores in the eastern part of the US that sells CollectA. I've bought all of my CollectA online and haven't been disappointed. They're at least free of marks that they would get sitting on the shelves when kids play with them in the store and don't buy them. |

| I would love to see more Schleich Specials. A bit like those the old giraffes and kangaroos with zebra stripes. but then with other prints, spots, skin texture or stripes. As in An elephant with leopard spots.
