When I received a commission for making a hartebeest more than a year ago I was not sure about the subspecie I was going to sculpt. Thanks to the collector made the commission I will be able to make copies, and he was who ask finally, for making a coke's hartebeest or kongoni (Alcelaphus buselaphus cokii).
It's amazing the different kind of horns that several hartebeest subspecies have, and all of them are really beautiful. The heads are also really special: big and 'long'
One month ago I finished with the sculpting, mould is made and in a month (more or less) copies will be available. There's the first 'official' picture (not new for my followers in facebook, but first time here). I hope you like it:

Like you said the head is long and big and it looks so good! I like the hooves like that, they looks rough and worned! = D Very handsome figure. I just can't wait to see it finished bounce cheers
