PostSubject: Alienmantis' figure related stuff   Wed May 28, 2014 2:38 am

Well, I guess that it's finally time for my figure related diary.
I mostly collect Schleich horses, but from time to time some other random stuff finds a place on my shelves.

I'm going to start my thread with the beautiful figures I got from Carola.

Spawn.com 2003 movie maniacs 6 - warrior alien

The majestic Xenomorph from Alien IV Ressurection.

This photo is "a bit" overexposed, but I guess that it just enhances the grittiness of the model. It's a very detailed sculpt, the joints are almost non-visible and it has a moveable tail.

I'm very grateful for it.

Final Fantasy Trading Arts Vol. 1 - Sephiroth

Sephiroth with Princess (for scale - and because ladies stick together).

The sword is made from a very soft plastic and the guy has some body proportion problems but hey, it's canon) and an overly cute face.

Because of Seph and Vinnie I actually met my boyfriend XD.
And now they're on my shelf so I can always remember.

And now I even have my very own Princess PORTRAIT!

YAAAAAY *haaapy*

Thank you Carola, again and again.

 Razz They fit perfectly  Razz

They look to be very happy in their new home  cheers - even the Alien, which I think too is a very nice figurine. I like it is so articulated and it doesn't ruin the model, as lots of articulation can sometimes do.

Glad you like them  cheers

Thank you Animal Figures 4U, Ken yeo, Carola, Widukind, Jonesee, Susanne and Animalluvr6 for all the nice comments!  cheers  cheers  cheers

I almost feel like I'm breaking the rules here, but as it happens, my new figures aren't exactly typical animals - again.  Embarassed

These are cup toppers from PCO GmbH sold in our cinema in packs with soda and popcorn (of course that meant that my family had to eat all the popcorn and cola that came with the toys Razz). I had to grab them quickly because they quickly dissapear.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

They're made of soft plastic, bases cannot be removed. The sculpting is actually pretty good for this sort of thing.

Hookfang

Well, the paintjob is almost nonexistent XD Which I guess makes him the worse of the lot. And he's missing the new goatee!  Laughing

Stormfly

Noticeably more colors in this one :)
I like the texturing on the wings, but I'm really dissapointed how is she attached to the base Sad

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Toothless

Well, he's the best quality of the group, but I'm irked that he has his saddle attached. It's a bit annoying.

WoooooHooooo   bounce  bounce  bounce

I got a beautiful package from Germany yesterday  drunken

Thank you so much, Widuking, for getting it for me.  sunny  sunny

The figure is actually really pretty and has a great colours. It's very aesthetical. It's really interesting for me when they have a mold in the Bayala magazine which isn't available regularly.  cheers

Unrelated with the figures... I collected all curently available Slovenian euro coins for Widuking and learned a lot about our euro culture which was a valuable experience for me.  study
