PostSubject: Changing Schleich Heavy Horse into Polish Coldblood Horse   Fri May 30, 2014 10:31 pm

Once again, thank you very much Rogerio for sending such a wonderful figurine! I've started to change it into my wedding friend (about which I have written here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]). I have removed the mane and resculpted it, baked the horse and started to paint it... But I haven't finished yet :DI hope I will finish him tomorrow.

Before:

The mane looks great, well done!
And I know the horse isn't finished yet, but it already looks good.

Nice job Agata, this project turned out great!
I really like that shade of brown you used for the horse.
Did you mix it yourself or does it have a name/brand?

Thank you very much! I'm very happy that you like the result Very Happy

Have you really baked the horse?

Yes, I did! Although I was scared that something might happen with the plastic, the Schleich horses are hard enough to be baked. I have protected the legs with aluminium foil, so that they wouldn't be distorted.

It was a Schleich heavy horse (13244, retired) which I have got from Rogerio. I have customed it into a horse which I have met on a wedding, and it was a Polish Coldblood Horse. I have no idea wether it was a male or female, but it was so big that I have decided that it will be a boy Very Happy

Yes, I read all about the wedding and that Roger send you the Schleich horse.
I wanted to know about the brown colour of paint you used.
 lol!
Did you mix the paint yourself or did you buy it at the store?
And if so, does the brown paint colour have a name?
Like burned amber or poop troop?

Oh, sorry, I have missed the part about the colour  Mad Laughing
