Today i got for a friend this wonderful Merten American buffalos.

Really nice catch Andreas  Applause  Merten figures are uneasy to find nowadays  drunken 

It is the first time I see some unpainted models.

Maybe some German member will find a Merten catalog one day, it would be really helpful  bounce  Wink

The lions, the black banteng (gaur ?) and the buffalo are missing in my collection  cyclops cyclops cyclops

I think the Bovid lying down is a waterbuffalo Christophe.

I see your point Christophe, but the grey colour made me think so, and the longer horns, and the fact that waterbuffalo's were modelled very often in those days.

Wait, those are ban... no, willy has the reason! I also watched those models, and those are gaurs, not bantengs... Oooooops! Sorry about it. (It's really disappointing, because the bantengs could be a great idea for a toy) Bantengs are one of my favorite animals
