Martijn great pictures. Large paddocks. A lot of different species. The mere pleasure and delight watching. My daughter said that we could live there. To often walk to the zoo. They said also that you have a very interesting job. With spring we wait for more photos. Ala and Asia want to see some more photos of the water park

But I will give you some news from the zoo I work in:

2011:
Babyboom
common wildebeest -> 13 calfs
6 calfs from the Common eland
1 young white rhino and 1 on the way
First days mother and son stayed inside
2 grant zebra and 2 grevy zebra foals
2 banteng calfs
6 yaks, 10 sitatunga, 4 sable antilope calfs
and more!

The elephants have a new mix-enclosure with baboons
And even the bull Calimero can go in the new enclosure with his females AND baboons.
First day the females in the new enclosure (without the bull)

we also have different programms in the park. One of them is a programme that you will stay at night in the park.
You have a full day at the park, then in the evening you eat in the Rangercamp. You will walk through the park with a ranger when the park is closed for the night. Campfire for the night, sleeping in tents next to the elephant and hyena exhibit. And the next morning a walk through the park, still closed for public, breakfst and another full day at the park.

I LOVE that video with the baboons and the elafants, the baboons are like a wave of teenagers comming to make some fun in the street

It even looks like the elefants enjoy their compagny and think they are fun also, - but a tiny bit scary, perhaps ?
