Those are really cool. So they're 2015 models? How big are they?

Hi there, sorry I should have introduced myself a while ago. I'm James and I'm from the distributor for Southeast Asia. The dinosaurs XXL, dragons, and princess series were apparently showcased at the Shanghai Fair and should be available in a few months as Mojo is already taking orders. You may check with your local distributor for availability in your country. I didn't attend the fair myself but I heard from them. They are too busy to post updates even on their Facebook page. I just got the pictures today so I thought it would be nice to share. I don't have the details about the sizes but given that they are XXL, I suppose they should be much larger than the XL dinosaurs range.

Apparently, there are some new range coming soon. Will keep you guys posted.

Roger, these are not the "high tech" animals if you're referring to the ones that they have been working on with Science4you which have an RFID chips inside and links to a virtual world in an app on a tablet. I'm not sure how far this project has progressed.

Sansan, are you aware of the Consultation thread on the Dinotoyforum? http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?board=25.0

Your CEO James Connolly was to get in contact with us to help with the development of the Dinosaurs. Does he still wish to Do this? Because as much as I hate to say it, the DTF is disappointed in these new models

Florian, no I don't know yet what are the new animal figures for 2015 but I will try to find out. On the other hand, you can always suggest a wish list and the reason why. From my experience with Mojo, they are very receptive and listen to their distributors and collectors a lot, although that doesn't mean they will accommodate everyone as it's impossible to do so =)

Another new product launching soon this year is the Mini series, on blister cards. I'm hoping to get the actual samples in a few weeks. I'm not sure how the collectors community like these but they would be great for kids to introduce them to animal figurines as they are easier for most retailers to stock. I have a picture of a an early prototype packaging from

It looks like that may be a new elephant for 2015? We would all LOVE pics of the new figures if we could see them.

Hi Takama, I'm sorry that you feel disappointed with these new models. I'm not part of the Mojo Fun company but I only work with them as a distributor and feedback to them what our local markets would like to see. I'm not aware of the consultation James Connolly is involved with but all I can say is that they have been extremely busy in the past few months. This explains their lack of engagement in the collectors forums. James Connolly is a really nice guy and quite passionate about what he is doing. Please give him the benefit of the doubt. He won't disappoint.

Yes, the high tech dinosaurs I was referring are these. I only was using a subtle way to ask once I didn't know that all these informations could be turned public. :] i was also aware of these large dinos amd also about mini figures. Mini figures can be very popular among collectors when they feature exotic species, naturally these first blisters are the traditional jungle series with the most common animals. :] there was really an intention from James of developing the new prehistoric lines with DTF members what obviously I supported once I was asked amd i'm sure it was the lack of time that made James not keep the connection. The same is happening with our community that is "historically envolved with the company as we can confirm im Mojo catalogues. Actually, our feeling is not amy kind of disappointment but a big joy for knowing that the brand is growing amd expanding their collections what means also that our friend James is well. Very Happy James doesn't need to knock the STS doors to be back to our forum because, as he is a part of our community he has his own keys amd he knows he will be received with the same enthusiasm of ever. :DIt is really good to have you, James Sansan, to keep us updated about the company, Thanks! Very Happy

No offense, but I'm terribly disappointed with these. They are so inaccurate and ugly, one of the worst dinosaur figures I've seen in my entire life.I thought Mojo was going to consider our DTF suggestions. We were even going to help them with the accuracy.I'm not going to get any of these.
I can just hope both Megatherium and Basilosaurus will be ending up being good figures.

Although we also have some dino experts here, I have myself suggested Mojo to cooperate with DTF as they do with their wildlife range with STS. Have you ever thought why that cooperation never started? Have you seen the REBOR massacre on DTF? affraid What is funny is that there's a lot of enthusiasm around it. Very Happy
I agree, I am also not excited about this Deluxe series, it was expectable more considering that Mojo is the company that makes some of the best wildlife figures. It has the best lion of the market, that had their gaur awarded as the best figure of the year, have some nice prehistoric mammals, etc. :)

Well. Not the most accurate dinos ever and a little um.. plump? for my taste. Though very easy to apply anthropomorphism to:

Imagine a dainty hat, little gloves and a purse on the T-rex, or a business tie and briefcase.  A top hat or bowler hat on the brachiosaurus, even an inspector's hat. Make the velociraptor into a nervous waiter or personal assistant or even maybe Sméagol from Lord of the Rings and hand him a ring.  Put a parasol into the hands of the parasaurolophus, or perhaps a broach around its neck.  The stegosaurus could be a football fan (either American or European, doesn't really matter.)  And perhaps the triceratops could be a stand-in for Eeyore from Winny the Pooh, or a safety crossing guard.

With a little bit of imagination, there are applicable uses for them. Definitely more children's play toys  jocolor level than dinosaur-expert fanaticism level models.  study

Their extant animal range is the best among major brands imo.
And it's not a 'Rebor massacre' we are sending our feedback so they can improve.IMO it's kind of provocative saying that Yutyrannus is accurate when it has so few feathers.I think it's fair.BTW this company will release a Tyrannosaurus and a Utahraptor.

Thanks, actually I do know these releases, I only haven't shared them because my confidentiality was requested and I respect it. Though, we can read about it in a blog . I have also watched pictures of one of them but the respect for the work of a company is more important than any "fora race".
About being or not a REBOR massacre, just read back the topic, remember that some posts were edited or deleted and two members banned. Just because a new company shows a dinosaur with less feathers than what was expectable. Well, my point is clear there and for me it is enough. By the way, the utahraptor is already being criticized although it is not known yet! Laughing

The excitment is stronger than everything else! Laughing
Why didn't you ask the T-rex? Is it already known? The utahraptor is still being developed, I am sure that instead of saying that it is a bad idea for a release, if you give politely your feedback, it will be an excelent figure. It was my fault bringing REBOR to Mojo's thread but I think it is better to keep both discussions in their respective places. Very Happy
Laura's comment is just explaining everything without any sarcasm and with a fine sense of humour. Very Happy It works for Mojo, REBOR, Papo and even Safari...

I have to say I feel sorry for REBOR (AS I feel that I was at fault Crying or Very sad ) I will not be getting these Mojo Dinos, but I do hope they release some new Prehistoric Mammals as im sure they will please more accuracy picky people.

Takama, just forget it, it's already a prehistoric thing. Wink
