Next statue is made from ``alabaster``, a matirial wich look`s like a gypsum.
The puma ( mountain lion, cougar)

I love the picture of the Mongolian composite bow. They were made out of three parts, sinew, wood, and asiatic buffalo horn. These bows were way ahead of their time, and in flight compitions, they could shoot an arrow over a half a mile with them. Even today, we can not do that with a modern bow. You might be able to do it with a compound, but I do not consider those to be bows.

The puma I bought in Bulgaria, but it comes from Greece.
And yes, with your guess , you are right...it looks like is from India :)

I don't know if it is universal but this kind of elephant statues is used here as kind of amulet to give luck. It is only a good luck elephant if the trunk is like that. Actually, in house decoration shops, elephants are very common and made of several materials and shapes. That's an expressive figure, I am sure everyone will like it. elephant Very Happy

Yes , that`s universal, also in Bulgaria we put the elephant figure with his back to the door...and like this the elephant brings the luck in our house :) But, I think this comes from FENG SHUI :)
