1:22 scale Impala Ewe Finished

I am planning on making copies of her. I thought that since there weren't any really female impalas I should make one, especially since they are one of the most common savanna animals. The first two photos are to show size. All criticism is welcome so I can improve her.

Good to see the less extravagant gender get a model, too. I like her face very much and think you've got the hind legs down delightfully correctly. If there was anything to alter, I think I'd de-beef her shoulder region a bit. Not much, just a smidge off the overall roundness.

Thank you all so much for the compliments. Thanks Lea for the criticism. I tried to slim her shoulders and stomach down a little bit. Criticism is still welcome, I will probably not bake her until next weekend.

She is beautiful, she is beautiful!  I would also be interested in a copy, especially if you are going to make a male to match, but she will do nicely on her own as well.

If I may make a suggestion, her tail is a little thick, I would thin it down before baking if possible, not much, but a little.

Thanks Phil, Anna, and Miguel. I fixed her tail, thank you for the suggestion. I may make a male. I have had a few requests. I will probably make a poll with a few other animals too in the future.

VERY beautiful impala!
Maybe you can make a little bit softer the texture of the fur. After making the texture I use to soft it with a brush and alcohol. Make a test out of the model before!

Thank you Joan for your kind words and your helpful suggestion. I tested your method out on a piece of clay. Then I did it on the the impala, and it worked well.

I can't wait to see the new figure!  As I said earlier, it does not matter if you make a male or not, she is a beautiful female by herself!  I would like a copy if you make them for sale!

I have some bad news though. One of the materials that I was using to make a mold has dried up (this is for the male saiga, which I am molding before I mold the impala). Because of this the project will take a few weeks more than I originally planned.
