Two tiny guinea pigs

It took me a while to decide whether or not to post these, as they're not realistic at all, nor really meant to be so. Still, they're animals, and they're homemade, so here goes nothing, ahah.

I started them on Friday, as I was working on a couple of custom horses and ended up with quite a bit of left over clay. I didn't want it to go to waste, so I made these little critters. I left them to dry, painted them on Saturday and photographed them today. They were just meant as a fun way to unwind, so I didn't look up references or anything - they are made from memory.

With a AA battery for scale, because I couldn't find anything better. My friend asked for me to show them with a banana, but I didn't have one of those either

I am glad your friend haven't decided to tell you to use a watermelon instead.
AA battery is a very good idea once it is a standard sized thing and with it and the Bullyland hedgehog we can see that your Guinea pigs are tiny. Better than a battery ... só uma bolota!

Roger, they'd barely be visible on top of a watermelon, they are so tiny! And yes, I thought using something well-known would be a good idea. The other option was a SD card, but I needed that to take the photos

Those are also Portuguese words. Bolota means acorn. Bolo means cake and lotas are the places in a port where fish is sold for the first time... auction. Beautiful names indeed.

I really like those names! My friend says the one with the white spot is Bolo, and the other is Lotas.

They have also been to school, and can be seen here learning about equine nutrition
