I found this vintage, made from metal dog.
Look`s nice and interesting...
Does anyone know something about him ?

I am almost sure that Dave can tell you about him bounce

I have a lead spanile, and Dave wrote :  I suspect the big brown Spaniel was made in Germany by George Heyde of Dresden

Wow yeahhh..it`s actually the same like yours, just the paint job is diferent cheers

I see Susanne beat me to it. Yes, almost certainly Georg Heyde.

These dogs (and deer stags or horses, sometimes other themes) were often fixed to stone/onyx/marble bowls, ashtrays, bookends, etc., so often have traces of screws or similar fixings under their feet.
