Schleich Horses 2015 reviewed

Now that I have all the 2015 regular horses. Here we go. Copy and paste the judgements I made on them in October last year and fill in my second opinion.

Knabstrupper Mare

- Quite the ungaining model. Looks a lot like papo tbh. The colours are too flat and the spots are unrealistic, especially the lovley little batman logo on her ass. The manes and the tail ick me, but the proportions of her body are relatively OK.
Verdict: Even though she is as ugly as could be, I'll still get her.
Second Opinion: She looks way better than expected and I actually like her alot.
Tinker Mare

- I love her!!! The colours are a little flat, but the shade of brown is lovely. I love her windswept hair and the sturdiness of her body. People say her neck is on the short side, but I do think it is rather charming on the model. Her expression and movement are wonderouse as well.
Verdict: I WANT HER!!! I love this model and I can't wait to get her.
Second Opinion: Very well done schleich, you are making progress again. She is wonderful and I am so in love with her!

- OH MAH LOKI. This baby is too preciouse for it's own good. The colours are lovely, it's some blue-roanish kind of grey and I can't quite recall schleich using it before. It's fur looks fluffy like a newborns wintercoat. The movement is also very neat, it looks like it is about to bolt into action.
Verdict: My favorite of the 2015 horses. I can hardly wait to have it in my hands.
Second Opinion: Better than I expected and my expectation were high for this one. My very favorite and a good one on schleich.
Mini-Shet Stallion

- A rearing pony! It is a cute little thing with a very nice colour. The silhouette is very nice and the expression is lovely. I like how he is not too chubby too.
Verdict: Adorable, but I am not a pony lover.
Second Opinion: This model is amazing. He is just so cute and brave and I love it!
Mini-Shet Mare

- Noooooo! It is hidiouse! The braids! And it is so friggen fat! It is fortunately the only one with braids. Her colourcombo makes both colours come out too bright. And even the expression on her face is as dumb as fudge.
Verdict: All in all a buttugly thing that I will only get to complete my collection.
Second Opinion: MY GOD WOMAN YOU HELLA UGLEH.

- Gods nö. It is an OK model, but I simply do not like it. For the sheer reason of not liking young shetties. It looks fairly realistic and although the colour is a little bit too bright, it is a good shade. It is a little bit of a fat thing too.
Verdict: It is not my cup of tea, but I will perchase it.
Second Opinion: Still not my thing. It looks piggish.
Ardenner Stallion

- A new breed, huzah! I am curiouse to see how high it stands in comparison to the other models. His colour is a lovely shade. His neck and head are a bit out of proportion in comparison to his wonderfully muscles body. I very much like his expression and his feathers.
Verdict: I like him, but he has his flaws. I can't wait to have him.
Second Opinion: There are a couple of things going on here. He isn't as big as I expected and the shading on his muzzle makes it look like he is a killer clown from those horror movies. Other than that I like him and I am glad to have obtained him.

- Such an adorable bea. It looks so stubborn and buff. It's colour is a tad off and slightly on the yellow side, but I love it's body stance. It's expression is great too and it looks, proportion wise, very good.
Verdict: I very much want this fellow. I Like!
Second Opinion: So sweet and fierce. Yes I most definately like his a whole heck of a lot!

- Yay, more new breeds. And a curley at it. I have no idea if the colours are anything near realistic and I'll need to hold it to judge how the curls actually turned out. On the picture it looks a bit strange. Her movement is wonderful and anatomically I don't see too many flaws.
Verdict: Not too shabby, but I'll bneed to see it in real life.
Second Opinion: Not too pleased. I naturally like the fact that it is a new breed, but her head looks like she got stung by bees.
Bashkir Curly Foal

- Meh, just meh. Not good and not bad. Anatomically few flaws, but still npt sure about the fur texture. It's colours ick me, they seem a bit too bright. It's expression is very nice though.
Verdict: Not sure yet, gona need to hold it.
Second Opinion: Dear schleich, they are not born curley. The model is moderately nice, but waaaay too inacurate.
Tennessee Walker Horse Stallion

- The good ol' TWH mold. A very likeable model, just too bad we see more recycling this year. Nothing wrong with his body stance, I have always liked him. The new colour is more flattering on the mold though.
Verdict: I do like him, shame that it is an old mold.
Second Opinion: HNG YAS. I am crazy about this guy. I know it is a reused model, but everything is so right and schleich shows they can do great paintjobs. He has perfect shading, good colorscheme and I just love him.
Icelandic Pony Mare

- YES! She is lovely! Firstly, DAT HAIR. Secondly, the pose. She is well molded and doesn't look half as ridiculouse as some. Her colours are a bit too bright, but she makes up for it with her fabulouseness.
Verdict: Super, she'll be mine without a doubt.
Second Opinion: OMG I LOVE HER. She is so pretty and cute and OMG!

- Another familiar mold. Too bad, even though I do like this mold, he is a very realistic model. I do like the colours. More so than his other two variations.
Verdict: Sad but true, he'll be mine.
Second Opinion: I actually ended up liking him better than I expected to. The black suits the model more than I thought and he has a cute pink nose that I just can't deny.
Pinto Stallion

- Wow, what a prince. A lot of people don't like him, but I love the way he shows what he's got. The manes and anatomy aren't top of the bill, but I love him anyway. His colours are nice and agains, I love the way he struts.
Verdict: Yes I Love him!
Second Opinion: Slightly disapointed. He looks more toyish than on the promotional photo's. Still like him a lot though.

- Not another one... Schleich, why?!? Plus I like her old colours better. Nuf said right?
Verdict: T_T
Second opinion: My original verdict still stands. Her old colors were nicer and they could as well had kept the old colrs on her.

That pony foal is AWFUL
And the curly foal is wrong

The ardenne stallion gave me a happy push, when I unpacked him, - the colour is just so perfect, - but they should have made his head all dark, - he is roan, for god's sake

But Tedddy : I just adore that model, he is just ...ohhhhh
The only problem is that they charged a rather large fortune, selling him and his Mom as "Exclusive" with a whole stable
But that is not Teddy's fault
And I hope to sell that horrible stable, even with a loss

I bought the stables with the Trakehner LE's and I quite like it. But heh I am a crazy gal!

You are right Jonas, she would look nice with new fur.

I enjoyed a lot reading your comments and the comparison while experiencing the figure in hands. Often it happens, we judge a figure in a certain way from a catalogue picture and then our opinion changes when we have it in hands. For example, CollectA springbok never attracted me in catalogue pictures and it surprised me positively in hands.

My initial opinion was excitement, I thought she was really pretty and I really wanted her to be part of the regular collection. When this did not happen I was pretty disappointed.

Second Opinion: YAAAAAAAAS. He is gloriouse. Look at his ears, they are bend like they should be. He is so fab. A little bit taller than the former Friesian. But his manes are matte and of a different material. Who's idea was that?

Initial: Boah this is a beaut. I like it and I want it. Only it's eyes suit me less, but I like it's body stance and it's peppy movement.
Second: There is a good boy. The models energy is very nice and his eyes are less quircky in real life. It also has a nice scale to the horses.
