PostSubject: Takama's Drawings   Wed Mar 04, 2015 10:53 pm

Hello, occasionally when im at the desk, i try to draw dinosaurs. Now its not easy for me, I constantly draw, and erase lines until i get a picture im happy with, i then give it detail in the form of simple scales that i tediously draw on by one. The following are my most recent works.

One question: how long does it take you to draw all the scales?

Depends on how fine they are. I can make the super tiny but my hand will cramp easily. I normally liston to Yutube videos while working on them. I go through a lot of paper drawing and erasing and eventually discarding pieces of paper until I get a shape I like. I'm not good enough to be a true Paleo artist but I do try to get some key details correct. Like the number of toes on the sauropods and the little nasal bumps on the Alioramus.

Now, how about you draw an ankylosaurus? I'm curious of seeing how you will draw the back body armor of that animal... Smile
