Excellent polar bears collection, No 1 on STS at least...  

Here are mine - 3 different polar bears from Wild Republic - the first two large figures I bought years ago from TGF toys, the small one I traded with Beatrice:

Thank you, Julie. Especially the large walking bear on the first photo has it´s own traveler story. From TGF toys was sent to me but somebody from the post office in our small town sent the package directly back instead of delivery. I was waiting for the package and then I was surprised when I got e-mail message from US regarding the "rejected package". After my explanation to the buyer I paid one more journey for the polar bear across half of the world...

Wow, I don't think I've seen someone that has so many of one animal in their collection. Some of those are quite beautiful! Awesome collection.

Thank you guys for all the complements, but i would love to see all your polarbears to.
Because I know there are so many many more that deserve to be shown here.

Well, my brown bears come close in second place.
In fact I dont know anyone else personaly who collects bears and bear only.
Or only one single type of animal at all.

I love all these polar bear pictures. Wonderful!  

I have Safari polar bears. I bought the lonely cub in toy store either in Fairbanks or Anchorage, Alaska several years ago. Last year I finally found the adult Polar bear in a tourist shop in Sitka, Alaska when I was on vacation. But these places are still much too far south for polar bears to be hanging out.

Thank you! I suppose I can keep them in my freezer if they get too warm.

The small grey blob in the top photo is my miniature donkey, and the big dark blob in the second picture is my mammoth donkey. I really need to take some pictures of them now that the weather is better. They haven't started shedding their winter coats yet, so they're still fuzzy.

Papo has already made several gorgeous Polar bears, even if they did not start the animal series untill 2004.
So please let me try to show how they have developed

In 2004, when a whole new range was launced, among them these two cute, but a bit shaggy dears :

In 2006 the adult was exchanged with two new ones, while the cub stayed :

The sitting one seems to be made by the same artist as before , - not perfect, but very charming . He was retired already in 2009 :

The standing bear is one of the Papo models I love the most . Well, it is clear that she is not the biological mom of the cub  
He and the cub stayed untill 2013 :

In 2013 a whole new range of Polar bears was launced. A mom with two young cubs, - and their older cousin came walking to visit

Now, in 2015, the family was completed with the awesome  guy standing on his hind legs, - now we know why one of his sons also likes that position :

Dutch Bear has sooooo great collection...with so many variations of diferent models...
and many of them a real jewels :)

I like the posture, the way it is sculpted... it look`s still realistic, but also has a special signature of the sculptor :)
