Walkaround of the Schleich 2015 Tinker Foal

Such a super cute model! She came home with me from Outback Toys yesterday along with her donkey friend.

I kept going back and forth, whether or not to buy this one. Something about the legs bothering me. I think it's that hind leg being planted so flat on the ground, or the low detail on the face. Whatever it is I can't quite put my finger on.

However, the paintwork is quite nice - I like the pattern and it's fairly well executed. The hooves are nicely painted for a change and I like the pinking on the nose.

Sculpting wise, I like the attempt at a more dynamic pose and I think it was a success for the most part. Love the scraggly mane on this little foalie.

This foal is indeed one of the most beautyful horse models that Schleich has made for several years, - IMHO

And the paintwork is is a bit nicer than on mine ( But of course I don't tell her , and I love her anyway ) , she does not have the pinking on he nose and accurate outline of hooves and mane.
Where is your filly made ? Mine is made in Germany

If I had not read about the hind leg I'd probably never notice it... now that you tell, I can't stop finding it not natural. Though, the foal is a very nice youngster.
