Who says you can only do two? Wink Why don't you split the top shelf, half arctic and half jungle? Very Happy I think that would look great!

If you have a train hobby store near you, check out what they have. They make tiny plants, trees, and roll-out fake grass. You can buy little rocks or make them from polymer clay.

For water you can use a mirror, works great for water. Very Happy

Exactly what I thought cheers

Lots of stuff can be used, - cloth or colured paper and interesting stones that you find ....
In some shops with tropical fish you can find decorative paper that can work as jungle-background.
Amazing how just a little decoration makes it all look better, have you seen how Luc makes [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with just one stone a tuft of "grass" or a twig Very Happy

Btw, CollectA has the most beautyful palm tree set [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] , a bit expensive, though  scratch

I can't wait to see what you make out of it !  bounce  bounce

Arctic-
Polystyrene ice with large ice shelf's. I'd have to buy more Arctic figures because I don't have many. Just one polar bear, two cubs, a walrus and a seal. Every arctic display needs a penguin Wink Wink

That would be something, since penguins don't live in the Arctic Wink

What I would recommend is to have a look at model railway websites. They have lot sof great advice and ideas for creating dioramas, since that is essentially what a model railroad is. One that I've been following is [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The big takeaway is that, as far as building up a structure goes, foam and plaster are your friends. If you can find it in any stores near you, you can get rolls of bandage prepared with plaster. You just have to wet them and apply. After you've got the structure built up, then you can start applying textures: paint, fake grass, moss, etc.
