Warthog : New model from Papo 2015 !

Even if the Warthog is a very interesting, strange looking and and unusual creature, there aren't THAT many models made of it, if we look at TAI , compared to other common, African animals like elephants, leopards, zebras etc..

But now Papo has made one also

The warthog has a large head.
But even if there are sub-species with very large head and sturdy neck, perhaps Papo has over-done it a bit ?

Apart from this, I love this model, - lots of fine detail, as is typical for the best Papos

When I got the pig in my hand, I had a feeling to have seen him before, - and certainly, he must be closely related to the lovely, retired on from Safari Ltd

I almost forgot that Papo had a warthog for 2015!
I'll surely revisit this topic with excellent pictures to study it better and take a final decision. I love the Schleich hog that is the one I own. Safari is the one whose pose I like best but it seems Papo is the most detailed one. They fit nicely together and all three are very good figures in my opinion. Thanks for showing this almost forgoten new important release!

Very fine details... yes , the head is a bit too long... but for shure this model will be in my collection.
