Thank you Suzanne! cheers
His markings are indeed too white, it's not my photo lol. Not complaining though, because for a CTF model, he's quite good!

What a fabulous model cheers

The sculpture is awesome, and look at the face Applause

The white paint seems like it is too white, but perhaps it is just the photo, - it is almost impossible to take white+ drak pictures for us who are not professional Wink

Gosh , I have never thought I would want one of CollectAs deluxe horses, but here I am seriously tempted bounce Very Happy Very Happy

Thankyou very much for sharing , and a huge congratulations cheers

I was going to upload photos of the Trakehner by CollectA, then got distracted and forgot. Here I am posting them now, together with my latest addition - Breyer Fire magic! He's gorgeous, although I am not a fan of the chest on this mould....
First is Fire magic :)

(My photo background needs some ironing, lol)
And here are the photos of the Trakehner

I think the Trakehner is my least favourite from the little sized collectas. He's nice, but not as nice as the Friesian, or the Campolina, or even the Percheron mare. Still, I like him enough to keep him in my collection (for now at least, haha!) If I don't end up repainting him, of course.

Congrats! I have a feeling I'll end up repainting my Trakehner stallion too, just have to decide on a color.

I want him as a dapple grey or really really dark bay! Not much time at the moment, but once I am a bit more free he'll end up being repainted Very Happy

Today was a good mail day :) This pretty boy arrived
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I've been after Breyer Paso for quite a while, but never had the chance to get one, so when this guy popped up for sale, I had to take the chance and grab him! For a steal price too Wink
Next on the list is Indigo Beau resin painted by Studio Decuir who's still on his way to me :) can't wait for him already!

I was surprised when I checked IDYB today! She's one of 2000! Very Happy
You definitely should get one! The mould is super nice. Prettier in person than the photos.

I'm still not sure who to get! Of course I love Del Fuego but that's probably not going to happen. A friend of mine owns the 2010 auction model on this mold, he's gorgeous in person! I'll take that one Laughing Maybe I'll get Cobrizo sometime Very Happy

This one is AWESOME cheers
I love both the breed and the model Very Happy Very Happy

Funny little story : A long time ago, when I was young, a German guy bought some Paso Finos for crossing with Iceys.
He wanted the fine gaits of the iceys and the elegant looks of the Paso fino, - and what he got was the worst from both : Stubborn, heavy, no gaits ...even aggressive !!! All in all a total flop Laughing

The reason may be that they are probably geneticly as far from each other as it is almost possible ?
I don't know if crossing back gave better results after some generations.Very Happy

He came!(Technically, he came yesterday, but I was all too excited to post) And he's gorgeous!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
He's Indigo Beau resin cast by Lynn Fraley, painted by Studio DeCuir. My mini resin army is steadily growing! With 2 more on the way (one of them is Snegir, YAY!) and the Breyer Eberl andy, there will be 5 minis (plus the big guys 8  in total) I think I want more! Lol. I am sure I've seen a thread named "Breyer horses are like potato chips" in this forum, well safe to say it is valid for resins too, lol! Very Happy
More - next week, hopefully! Very Happy
P.S. Thank you everyone for the congratulations!!! I love you I love you

As promised, here are the rest of my newbies! I shall add them in the order they arrived
First is Styx :) He's an OF Breyer Swaps "Hawk" You'd probably never guessed it, but this mould was my ultimate Breyer grail! He's been escaping me for over 2 years, so happy I finally managed to get one! He arrived Monday to cheer me up :)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Two packages arrived yesterday! One contained this guy
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Breyer Phoenix. He's adorable! I had Fox Valley Oliver, but decided to swap him for this boy. Plus Phoenix is brand new :)
The other package, I was very excited about, contained....SNEGIR! I am IN LOVE with him. So much detail. He's already cleaned up ready for priming and painting :) He'll be painted dapple grey, unless something else comes to his mind Wink I can't thank Anna enough for him.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The last, but definitely not least is this girl
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Working girl by Sarah Rose. She's stunning. For a stablemate size horse, the amount of detail is impressive!
And now I am totally and officially on a Model Horse spending ban until the end of November when I will be paying for Valegro... Unless I sell some tack, lol! Very Happy

The WG is painted by Shannon De Waal. Really lovely colour! She was a grail too, and I was so thrilled to get her, as she was a real bargain! Though, I will be on a diet for a while now, haha Very Happy No money for chips this month Sad

So, as it seems, my last post on this thread was.... AGES AGO! (Lol) I have had a few additions since then, as well as a few horses that left me (including Dante, which  makes me incredibly sad, but, needs must, right?)
Anyway, every bad thing is followed by a few good so, here is my share of "goodies":)
I don't remember the order they arrived in, so I'll just "slap"them on the page.
The first guy is not technically a new addition, but an old one in new clothes Wink
Snegir, by Horse and Bird, painted by me to a dark rich bay!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Here he is with Flash on
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] He's not THAT red, but my camera refuses to capture his colour accurately Sad
He is SO darn adorable, isn't he! I couldn't resist and put a deposit for Perkoz, that's how much I like Anna's sculptures!
Next on the list is Valegro! Oh, boy, was I happy when he arrived!! He's such a pretty horse!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Really photogenic as well Wink
Then, this guy came
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Jesse! I did a trade with a lovely lady from the States and he arrived in just a week. His name is Desert Prophet (He came with this name and I kept it, as I love it)
And last, but definitely NOT least, is this beautiful girl!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
She's Peter Stone Pebbles Arabian mare "Sonja" (That's her official stone name, she's now named Andromeda) I am in love with her. I've been wanting a PS Pebbles Arab for ages, and she's definitely the best choice I could have made! :3
I've also got this girl on time payments
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Just waiting for a postage quote from the owner so I can pay her off! She's a Customized Romantz resin, painted and haired by Deb Brown! (my first ever Deb piece) I am SO excited!

Wow, I haven't posted here in ages Sad I have so many newcommers, I'd probably be unable to post them all (lol) so I'll just add the last 2-3 orders I've made.
In order of their arriving....First is Kaalee :) I love this girl. Such a dynamic pose and she looks so good under endurance tack! Can't wait to get some for my lady. I still haven't picked a suitable name for her Sad
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Next on the list are Bandera, Cobra and the classic chestnut Stock horse Gelding! Don't have a better photo of them yet, really need to take some.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I was pleasantly surprised by Bandera. I purchased him to customize, but I've decided to keep him OF the second I saw him! He's just so cute.
Cobra is almost like the regular Flash, just with added brands. He's lovely. I sold my Flash years ago and regretted it ever since, so I just had to add Cobra Razz And the chestnut classic is just adorable! I don't add classics to my collection too often and I should! I have plans for the 2018 ones, plus some of last years releases. :)
Next purchase was a group of bendies - a few collectas, a Safari Abaco Barb mare and Mojo's Tinker mare! I loved them all! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I think I really need more of the Mojo's newer releases (if not all, lol) My bank account is gonna scream this year.
And last, but by no means least is this lovely girl
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
She's a regular run Pebbles Arabian named Guines.
I now have a few items on pre order - a few of the 2018 Mystery stablemates packs (I'm really hoping for a Django and the Tushar one)
This guy on time payments (I am Soooooo excited about him!)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
He's a Josine Vingerling's friesian resin Jools. I've always wanted a trad Friesian for my collection plus a Vingerling sculpture and he's the perfect fit!
Also waiting on a Peter Stone blank Arabian, but he shall be here after the Holidays, so I am still thinking of a colour and a name for him :) Feel free to suggest both
So, that's all for now.
Have a very Merry Christmas guys! I hope it brought you the presents you wanted. I really hope 2017 have treated you all well!

It is wonderful to see you posting back here, Stani. Those are surely very wonderful horses and surely among the best that could be done. Kaalee has a perfect balance with a fantastic pose and that Friesian is close to perfection. Looking forward to see your next projects and additions. Very Happy

PostSubject: Stai's Additions - Updated 20.01.2018   Sat Jan 20, 2018 1:13 pm

Thank you everyone for your kind words! <3
Whoooooo, so it turns out I've got some new faces to share! Razz Some are still on the road, others are home!
Will start with the in-Transit boy! His photo was taken by his previous owner and doesn't belong to me, but I thought I'd share anyway
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
He's the Eureka Live 2011 run, with custom tail. I bought him from a very lovely lady in the UK. He should be home next week :)
Next are the Breyer Mystery Stablemate packages! I bought 8 of them - got 1 Django, 1 Andy, 1 Rivet, 2 TWH, 1 sliding pony and 2 of the cobs! Here are the photos of the single guys I got :)
Here is the Appy Standing Friesian, together with his brother the original Django. I just adore the way they look together!
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Second is the Andy. He was actually the first one I opened.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Here is the Appy. I really really love that mould! I'm thinking of doing a review, anyone interested?
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Next is the Cob! I ADORE this guy. He doesnt scream cob to me though, so I am looking for a suitable breed for him.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Then next is Rivet. His colour is sooooo pretty! I think he'll look good next to his brother the roan one. Gotta take a photo, lol.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Then, here is the sliding ponio! One of my favourites. His face is adorable.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I left the TWH for last. He's my least favourite one and I might get rid of him. One is going as a gift, for sure.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
And that's it all for this week :) I might have to get a better photos of my ponios, they came out kinda blurry...

Well, I am surely interested in your review of the Appy! You've got really beautiful horse figures. Amazing the foal in tht sliding pose. Shocked Why don't you like the TWH? It has a quite unusual color and it looks like the statue of an Emperor! Wink
