Bullyland 2011 came in

here are my latest aquisitions from Bullyland:

Gorgeous new additions

I've not seen that lop eared rabbit before and I didn't realise there were so many guinea pigs. I thought there were only three

Congratulations on your newest additions Torben! Great stuff!
Although i have my doubts about the two spiders, they are not exactly my favourite animals, bbbrrrr...
My favourites are the little black bear and the Mandarin duck...
I do have the nautilus too by the way, i got it with some of the corall-fish.

I am hoping to get the cow,too.It's gorgeous!

Great new additions, Torben. The alpine cow is tremendous, and it is nice to see a shar-pei figurine.

The ammonite and belemnite are really rare species in the toy world !
Ok.. I know they are even rarer in the real world

The peacockcow or "peackow" is really fine and the madarin duck is now on my wants list

There is no name, since there are no chicks, because there are two males!

But they have approximately the same size and fit together so well . :)

Torben, as I've seen here, you've got the 2010 Bullyland Great Grey Owl.
How do you like it? Could you post some comparison pics of the bird next to some modern Schleich animals?

Wierd, the owl on Torbens site has compleatly different colors as the one in the bullyland catalog

Hmm, I´m getting a little doubtful as to if I should buy it or not

The Safari Great Horned Owl is my favourite, but the Bullyland Owl isn´t bad. I think it´s a good buy.

This figure is not a masterpiece, of course, but if its price is under 4 euros - it's worth buying, I think.

I begin to like those bullyland figueres more and more :)

We did not get them in the shops her untill a few years ago, and thay are still hard to find, - it is all Schleich.
So even at Danish auktions they are rather expensive

Maybe the early Bullylands were playfull, as the early Schleichs were too, but right now they are making some good models too!
And there is a connection between them, as the former chief of the Bullyland company was the son in law of Mr.Schleich....
And the companies are in two little towns not to far away from eachother too! :)

It does look ok, but I still think it´s a bit of a dissapointment, as the add pic look like this;



now THAT is a beautiful owl! To bad pics almost always lie
