I took a few of my animals outside today for some photos by the water...

The customary "zebra at the watering hole" picture. :)

Perhaps my knees got a little damp. Wink But it was actually a nice little round puddle in the driveway, so not too messy. :)

Thanks Susanne!

This zebra drinking looks so real that I started to jump from under the water to see if I was able to catch it!!! Unfortunately I’ve flattened my long nose on the computer’s display! bom clown

Mallards are beautiful ducks, love it a lot! And the pictures are fantastic!!! Congratulations Kristie! cheers

About your male zebra I only think he is procrastinating! tongue

Thank you so much, Roger!

Today is our wedding anniversary and my husband brought home to me a Schleich Hippo! He knows how to win me over. Very Happy

It's the hippo with his mouth wide open. I have really been wanting one after seeing photos of them here. I cannot wait for another sunny day outside so I can take his pictures as well!

Great pictures Kristie. I love the first zebra picture so much. It looks so real. I also love the mallard swimming with the reflection. Great job. Happy Anniversary. I know I really enjoy getting Schleich for birthday, anniversary, Christmas and any other day of the year. Very Happy

Roger you wouldn't eat my zebras, now would you?

I was admiring the Papo Hippo just a little while ago on Ebay! I like him a lot, too!

I hope my new animals will come today. I am VERY excited about the Safari Cape Buffalo! Very Happy

Ok, I will check out the Papo croc. Is that him...er you...in your avatar?

Yes, the African collection is growing! I have an Okapi coming as well. I like the herbivore animals the best I think. My least favorites are the monkeys. Monkeys in general to me are creepy. I don't forsee any monkeys in my collection. Laughing

But I might make an exception for a crocodile.

No, my avatar is a prehistoric crocodile with a gavial looking, called Sarcosuchus and is from the brand Procon CollectA!

About the Papo nile crocodile is a figure out of discussion! No other brand was able to make the same species with a similar quality! Strangely I don't have it because I only buy in local shops and is really expensive here in Portugal!Sad But I will buy it soon or later!
You could see very nice pictures in this tread of our friend Martin!

About monkeys I agree with you... much more dangerous than crocodiles! Anyway I think that Kikimalou would be a nice addition to any collection! Wink
