| That is a nice group of 1992 New-Ray wildlife figures. We know the complete series and they surely make a very charming collection. However, we were not yet able of grouping these Farm life related figures, we don't have a offficial source and it seems they are not marked with a year. Not sure of which series your donkey and kart belongs but, there is a fam series of figures with bases, similar to the wildlife, Willy owned in his collection, at least, a border collie, a pair of foals, a group of piglets and a ram. |

| I like that bison a lot! The donkey, panther on a log, and that first rider with binoculars are also very interesting. The rider must have the best views of the various plastic animals. _________________ - Andy

| Editing on TAW sometimes is quite boring but often it is also very fun. One of the most fun works was when editing the early New-Ray figures. It is still unfinished with some misteries to solve. One mistery is inside of me. Why I enjoy better the early figures than the New-Ray USA newer ones if the last are more realistic? These from the first half of 1990's, make such a cool collection. Maybe they are different from everything we know, they feel to me like a bridge between what is vintage and what is modern. Something like someone found a color television for the first time! I have the pair of foxes and the anteater, two models that express perfectly what I feel and how cool is that boa in a trunk or the iguana with the cactus? |

I totally agree ! They have so much charm, and they seem to have been made with great care Today we have so much to choose from, which is more accurate |

| Yes would agree Roger. These models have a great charm of their own. While not always accurate size wise they are still very nicely made and with nice paintwork Susanne, the little brown beasties are a Wild boar and a piglet.I have a number of horse and rider sets by New Ray so will dig out the the other riders! |

| My collection of farm animals by New Ray.Most of the sets also came with other accessories like barrels, milk churns, small carts, fencing and trees. Some sets also came with buildings. The goats are breed marked with British Alpine-the black and white ones and British Toggenberg for the tan ones. The sheep with lambs in the middle are marked Welsh Mountain for those on the left and Romney Marsh for those on the right! | Something very interesting here! Those can't be the New-Ray USA once it is clearly oriented to the British market. I had no idea they were made to the breed level. They are not also the earlier New-Ray, at least they do not look like, unless they are from that misterious time between both eras when they manufactured in Hong Kong loads of sets that are still unknown to many of us. Do you have any idea when you obtained them? |

| I used to own the goat figures as my father thought it was appropriate as I had 15 goats he bought me ones that matched my Saanen and Toggenbergs. I probably lost the figures as they were only and I remember taking them to visit their real life counterparts _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Thanks for your nice remarks Yes,surprising that some of the models have breed names on them. Some of the cows in the picture also have British Friesian on them as well.I have already shown some of the New Ray cattle already and they had Kerry and Jersey on them.I remember getting them in the 1990s and many came as little sets like the goats, sheep and pigs.I found an old box that they came in recently and they were made in Hong Kong and the company address was Hong Kong as well. |
