I've just started collecting traditionals and have been hearing about this Breyer 'Collectors club' and am
not too sure what it's all about and the benefits it gives? I know you have to pay $25 to join so does
anyone know if it's worth it, and what exactly it entitles you to? scratch

You get a chance to buy special runs/offers on their website. And the member version of the magazine. Theoretically you'd be autoenrolled in the Breyer perks 10% off - if you enter code on checkout. Access to special events (pending you decide to meet those criteria like entrance fees) and apparently there's a special tent if you go to Breyerfest.

(While it is active you are eligible to join the special clubs like stablemate, classic collectors, traditional collectors, pursuant to those enrollment periods and prerequisites. But they do cost extra, andenrollment is closed til I think Aug on those)I think those are the main benefits? At least according to their site.

Depends on if you want the access to the models or the magazine. Course an actual member may have a much better answer

Laura is right Very Happy

You pay $25 for one year's membership, with the option to "win" the purchase of a SR Web Special, which is exclusive to the club, online only, and is usually a run of 350-375. These models tend to cost around $150-$175 plus $17.50 shipping for US orders and $57.50 shipping for international. There are usually 5 Web Specials per year, going on a general theme (big cats, Greek gods, Greek goddesses, silver filagrees....). There are also CC SRs, which are much cheaper $about $70, which you don't have to enter for and anyone can buy. But these have large run numbers that are not announced by Breyer. There are 2 of these per year. There are also other CC SRs Breyer likes to randomly toss up every now and then, and special access to online SRs before everyone else gets them. Oh, and 10% off RRs that you don't want anyway.

The CC also gives you the opportunity to join the SMC, PC, and VC. These are completely optional, however.

And you get the awesome JAH mag. To me the club is worth just getting the magazine Very Happy
