I find very interesting these family portraits. I even think that those with real families, I mean figures that were available at the same time in a certain brand, are also interesting to Toy Animal Wiki. Very Happy
So Zidane is a pinto, you need a Robben them. Laughing

Zidane is the protagonist of Final Fantasy 9, he needs a Vivi

I really like patching together families like this.

Laughing Of course, I suspected it was not the football player indeed. Though, I had no idea what it was. Thanks for telling me, a pretty character indeed. :)

Japanese modern culture has influenced a lot new generations with videogames, animes, etc.
I remember, more or less with your age, watching an anime called Dragonball that created a huge fever here although it was quite violent and I always thought I was too old to watch it. I remember teenagers not going to school to watch it. Shocked Strangely, I keep watching the Anime and now I don't consider myself too old enough to watch it. Now I find it so silly and incredible! I am so trivial sometimes, I like football and Dragonball. Laughing

Dragonball never really drew me, I foudn the drawing to ugly. Picky child I was. I grew up with things like Pokemon and Digimon. Most of all, though, I loved Biker Mice.

Dragonball has a quite rustic drawing but I think it is a question of animation style. I also don't like it at all and it was hard for my younger cousins to convince me to start watching it, to give you an idea, I started watching it quite after the 100th episode. The Portuguese version was dubbed in a humouristic way, joking with what was Portugal in these days. Most secundary characters had regional accents and used a mix of rural and sub-urban vocabulary. So, in these moments of huge tension and suspense , there was always a fantastic joke breaking everything.
I remember kids watching Digimon and Pokemon and also sometimes kids used some expressions from these animations. I have no idea about Biker Mice, I will check if it had a Portuguese version.
I was already an adult when these animes were cast, the imes from my chldhood, exaustively repeated were Heidi, Marco and Maya the Bee. Very Happy Very off topic now, sorry! Laughing
