Cry WOLF ! Or how 3 wolves become 100 !!!!

In Denmark some people have totally panicked because there are now wolves everywhere !!!

I was quite frustrated , because I have never seen any sign of the ones that should be around here

Untill a scientist decided that it could not be true, and he doublechecked some of the DNA from droppings that have been studied.
And he found that except for three cases the DNA is from...foxes !!!

Those tree are all from the south-west of Jutland, where they must have migrated from Germany, and one of them was found dead a year ago.

So now some of the laboratory staff has "been moved to other jobs" , and in the future, tests are being done by a German laboratory, where they have real experts employed

What an embarassment

Red dwarf wolves are everywhere, these illusive creatures. It makes me think of several North Americans in panic with big panthers, larger than cougars that invad their backyeards and when these creatures are found, they're just domestic cats.

Well... people often assume immediatly that it´s one thing, and then it´s another. XD Here´s a personal favorite of mine...

A few years ago, there were news about crocodiles in a area called Castelo de Bode. Now, the only crocodiles that lived on what is now Portugal were prehistoric species, which have logically been extinct for millions of years. But still, on this area, a woman claimed to have sighted one in a river. There were immediatly made arguments against it, stating that a crocodile cannot simply live here. Some of the arguments were: crocodiles don´t have enough to eat around here and they wouldn´t survive the winter months.

She was convinced that she did see a crocodile, and, well... maybe she actually did. I mean, it could be simply an escaped exotic pet. But apparently, it wasn´t. After some investigation, it was discovered that the crocodile was actually a particularly large catfish that had gone to more shallow waters to eat the local prey.

Very well remembered Iuri, I was talking about an American classic and you are bringing back that very parodied event. Well, in this case people was not exagerating, two told about a crocodile, one telling it was 1 metter, another that it was 2 metters long, it was a catfish with 1,5 m. It also happened in a place that translates to the Billy-goat Castle what may explain why the poor croc was a kind of scapegoat. Hurray for our wonderful country!
