The dog you call St.Bernhard was ment to be a Berner Sennendog, although the model and mould was the same as the St.Bernhard...
The big zebra is the foal of the early DeLuxe series, so mom is even bigger, haha.

I never doubted it was a Bernhard, so I didn`t look it up before

That is another good side-effect of finding the item numbers of the figueres.

Those pictures are not constructed, - Mummy seems to like some figueres more than others

Then one day Emma had two figueres that have been on my wishlist for a long time.
I have had a tiger cub for years, don`t remember where I got him from. But last year I got some lions, also from 1996 in a lot of mixed figueres.
They have been looking after the little tiger ever since.

Now Emma had their real kid

Harriet, I only have 3 Safari-catalogues, but fortunately they were in the oldest one.
It seems there was both a cub and an adult more

Your tigers look different from the ones in the catalogue photo! I don't think they are the same.

I just checked Torben`site, his tigers are the same as mine and he uses the item numbers in the catalogue.

Maybe they are variations? They changed the colour to a more yelloish tone as the figurines got older.

I think the real hunt is over, - they seem quite happy as they are. But of course, if I stumble over the others

I don`t know if the pale ones or the more brightly coloured ones are the oldest, Mihnea. But probably the light ones are the newest, I agree.

Nice to see something from old Safaris, the oldest figure I own is from 1998! I'm always very curious about it.
But, congratulations for your new aardvark, a fantastic figure! Mummi also loves it because it looks realistic and delicious! What does she think about African food?
