In this topic I will review Schleich's individual models.

Per day I will chose a model to review or review which ever model you request of me.

I will state three pro's, three cons and an overall opinion.


Starting with my own very first Schleich model:



+ It is a classic, rustic model
+ He is very adorable looking without looking toyish
+ It's colors match well and the shading is lovely
- It doesn't look very natural
- As old as mine is, it doesn't have that white ring anymore, but when it did, it seemed very odd
- It looks a bit awkwardly made
Overall Opinion: Because it is my first model, it has sentimental vallue. Mine is marked by the wear and tear it get's for lot's of playing and incorrect storing. I even took a black marked to touch up his nose when I was like 15. It is a bit of an awkward model, but he is sweet none the less and I really love him.

It is lovely. Too bad mine has been subject to a lot of playing.

I like it, it's cute. I'll request some, could you please give us your considerations about the Schleich 13736 Shire Foal and tell us how do it compares with the older brother?

+ Look at that little pelt on it's back, it is shedding it's baby fur, so cute!
+ Anatomically quite alright
+ Very nice coloring and shading
- It's head is a bit bulky
- His ears are also quite large
- Those dead demonic eyes are the bane of my life
Overall Opinion: Ugh, this baby is gorgeous. I love it's design, it is so dynamic, there is so much going on. I love him to death. He is very lively and active and just so detailed, which I love.

Thanks for following my request. I agree with all your comments about that figure. I think Schleich did an excellent work with that foal. :) Do you have the previous Clydesdale foal?

Why not? It is interesting to see all these drafter foals in a row.

+ It is a very simple beauty schleich has given her
+ She has a very funny expression
+ Look at the paint job on this baby, so good!
- She is a bit disproportionate
- Her ass is higher than her neck, is that healthy?
- Her tail is a bit short.
Overall Opinion: She is a very cute and well made model. Very cute and well painted.

Rogerino say thanks once more. Little clyde is as nice as others. What about Holstein foal now?

I like the idea of comparisonof drafter foals, it's interesting how the style is changing. The latest shire foal chanding its fur is really lovely, I have to get one.
By the way it happens sometimes with young horses that their croup is higher than withers, as they are growing quickly, so their hindparts can be a bit more overgrown for a while.
