PostSubject: Prehistoric land of Jamie   Thu Nov 03, 2016 3:56 am

Starting this new Prehistoric thread to share my Dinosaurs and other prehistoric mammals
First up is the PNSO Basilosaurus ... Magnificent choice to produce this prehistoric sea giant by the PNSO team sunny  , got it last month along with some of their smaller figures. This beast easily fits into the 1:40 scale and has an articulated jaw too . Will be interesting to see what this company will create over the years to come..

Amazing and very beautyful model !!! And huge ! 1 :40, - it must be almost 40 cm long affraid

At first I thought that I never heard about this creature before , but on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] we can see that Safari actually has one ! I just never thought about it as a whale study

Si Susanne , it is almost 50 cms ! (20 inches) so it fits well with the other 1:40 Dynos cyclops and if you have the safari prehistoric sealife toob , then this can be a mother for that lil fella Very Happy .. will try and make a pic of both together .. currently I have put some items from the safari fossil toob on that base !! Wink

its expensive but i went for it since i love whales and this is a Monster !! had to have it ..Lets see how the company moves ahead but for us Dyno collectors its good to have new companies making quality miniatures of rare species ..

These are some wonderful new additions. I'm glad you were able to get the SR Australian mammals. They're both very nice.

Kiki it is quiet huge and an absolute must have if you love prehistoric figures, it dwarfs the safari ltd Andrew and in scale with the other CollectA PH mammals

Thank You !! SR mammals contribute well to the diversity of the prehistoric species ( we now have a good representation of the Marsupial Lion and thanks to Jason for venturing bravely into producing these rare species - as collectors we r lucky !! )

I was watching your prehistoric land and thinking: - if I was collecting prehistoric figures, those would be surely among my favorite figures. Very Happy Yes, I love a lot this PNSO basilosaurs, it seems I start linking the CollectA andrewsarchus, the swimming spino represents a revolution in the perception of a prehistoric creature. Those Southlands Replicas are magnificent, soon or later they'll enter my collection and the REBOR is super exciting! cheers
