New Mojö 2017: Bull shark

Like Tiger shark, Blacktip reef shark, Lemon shark or Blue shark, Bull shark is a member of the Requiem shark family.

As many other Requiem sharks, Bull sharks are viviparous and spend their migratory life in swarm seas. Nevertheless the can and used to visit also brackish and freshwater systems including estuaries and rivers.

Those stocky sharks have a broad and stocky shape. they are also aggressive citizens.  That’s the reason I still don’t understand why a nice and peaceful macaque has to show you the MOJO Bull shark for 2017.    That’s life I guess.

I know that contrary to the (quite?) peacefull macaques sharks seems to be rather dangereus creatures. But I also agree with this meme

Based on images you see online, the contrast between the white and gray/brown shouldn't be so stark, it should have been shaded. I think that because of the wiggled lines for the white patches makes it look somewhat Great White like in comparison to their choice of dark gray. The lines should have been smoother and more oval shaped for the white underside, and the gray could have been mixed with a little brown but over all I think this is still a decent Bull Shark. I don't think its too White shark-ish simply because it doesn't have the cookie cutter like lines for the white part. If any of the above makes sense...

I also think, that it is a great white. Bull sharks don't have black eyes. But he is nice.

Bull sharks don't have black eyes, it's true, nevertheless Great white fins are different.

There is a tendency to some brands release different genera of theropods making it look as similar as possible to a T-rex. It may also explain why some shark figures look somewhat like great white sharks. There is always a species more popular and hegemonic both commercially and culturally. I do think it is somewhat reminescent of the pop predator but I do also think that it is a very good figure of a bull shark. I tend to dislike excessive contrast in terms of painting, in real it is often less contrasting than what we see in figures but most of hsark pictures are taken naturally underwater what may also be somewhat misleading.
