Today let me show you a walkaround of a so amazing and intelligent animal : the sea lion

The body of this sea mammal is adapted for moving through the water like a torpedo and hunting at sea. Sea lions often go hunting at night because they see in the black !

Sea lions only go on the ground for resting, or reproduce. Walking is not so easy for them than swimming, but they go faster than seals

This animal is easy to train, that's why you can see many of them in zooes' shows, circus...and sea lions have also been used for military missions!

There are several species, most of them live on american, south african, australian and antarctic coasts.

The Collecta sea lion is 10,5 cm long and 7 cm high ( 4,5" x 3")

I think that's a good idea from Collecta to choose a posture of sea lion shouting, a colony of sea lions can be indeed very noisy !

Thankyou very much for this interesting walkaround !! cheers

This model of the sea lion(-ess ? Is a female sea lion called a sealioness, I wonder scratch )  is certainly much more intresting than most others.
The picture in the catalogue makes it look a bit strange, so it is wonderful to see this kind of walkaround ! Applause
Really it is the only way for us, who can't see them in shops in the country/area, where we live Very Happy

CollectA offered a different interpretation of this animal with a posture that gives more dynamism to it. The basic poses of the other sea lion figures are surely boring when compared with this one. Safari made a swimming one, I should recall. From those I know, that's my favorite. Thanks for walk around. Very Happy
