| All those beautiful Breyers. I find the porcelain Arabian Mare in costume especially pretty. There is just something about the flow of those tassles that hypnotizes me. I've tried to make something pretty with tassels and beads for my CollectA mare. (With Breyer's Rhapsody in Black in the back.) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| That's a really beautiful halter! I can't make tack at all, I applaud anyone who can, especially in mini scale |

| A few more of my arabs: My mother's Breyer alabaster Family Arabian set. She gave me these when I was 12. I paid way, way too much for her at an antique store in the 90's as a teenager (before eBay). | The Safari ltd. Arabian is really nice indeed. So much grace and elegance for "just" a plastic horse figure. |

| No, I've almost missed it. Why February has to have only 28 days? It's allready 1st of March here, but here are Arabians and one part in my collection: Ma first Arabian I actually consider a Part-Arabian, it's Schleich sorrel mare. She has some Arabian features such as a high tail carriage, a slightly dished face, wide nostrils: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]But on the other hand, her "piggy" ears you can't see on any Arabian, tips of ears should be pointing to each other and up. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]She was a gift, I have her since 2005 and is called Petunie. Then, ten years without any new Arabian, until this Schleich mare came (she was my first STS post): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]For me one of most correct Schleich horses, without big and heavy head. Her head shape and expression is amazing. I called her Empower, cause there is definitely something royal about her. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]She had her daughter Enigma same year. Like mother like daughter - one of most realistic and correct Schleich foals. One year later, I purchased from MPV the unique and lovely Arabian mare in foal by Anna. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Though the OF paintwork was awful, I got used to it and fell in love with this amazing figure. I called her Epona, it seemed to me pretty symbolic, as Epona is goddess of fertility and sometimes is called 'The Great Mare'. Half a year later, another stunning great mare came: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My first and yet also only horse from Safari's Winners Circle. I just had to have her. Her name is Ethera. And thanks to her, I've decided to commissioned a repaint of Epona, so they would fit better together: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Here is my small herd of 'E' Arabian mares (Empower, Epona, Ethera): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And my only Arabian stallion came on the beginning of this Year, Breyer Classics Onyx, handsome glossy dark grey guy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arabians are wonderful, hope I get more of them, at least some Stablemates (my favourite scale) and I have also Breyer Traditional Rhapsody In Black by Eberl on my wishlist. _________________ I have two main passions: collecting and drawing animals Ars Animalium = Animal Art [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Ars Animalium on facebook I am Ars Animalium on Insta |
