These old Reisler figueres were on a local auktion. They are so tiny, made for model railways, but true copies of the "real" ones.
Just look at the two sizes roosters Shocked
Westie is a GIANT in this compagny Laughing

I copied this from wikipedia Very Happy
The name H0 is derived from the fact that its 1:87 scale is approximately half that of 0 scale which was the smallest of the series of older and larger 0, 1, 2, and 3 scales introduced by Märklin around 1900. In English H0 is pronounced "aitch-oh" (letters H O) but in German "hah-null" (letter H numeral 0).

Rogbert and Robger, - there you see ! Westie eats all my chocolate, I am only 1,80 What a Face

Harriet : Thanks, that is really interesting. So Märklin set the standard for size of figueres.
And these are half the size of the smallest, - they ARE tiny Shocked

Railroad models are fantastic. I think if I did not collect animal figueres, and if I had more room, I would build model railroads Very Happy

I've actually repainted a few HOs - even some foals, no bigger than my fingernail. In fact I bought a box of HO Preiser cattle just a few weeks ago... they're so tiny and beautifully detailed I couldn't resist.
