Old meets young - The Sable Antelope by Lineol and Safari

One of the most interesting old/new confrontantions on forum!
They look great together but they are incredibly different. The Lineol has a stupedn pose, very proud and dynamic, the spirit of horse that is characteristic of this animal is very well expressed. Safari's is clearly a defensive figure. They have quite different facial masks, surely based in different subspecies. Their horns are also clearly different, one thing is sure, none of them is based in a giant sable, the most impressive subspecies.
The Lineol have more delicate legs and tail but that is usual with the vintage copany and even their ears are radically different. They are surely an impressive pair. None of the modern sables is as sumptuous as the Lineol one both all 3 plus the female, are surely exciting pieces. Many thanks for providing these great pictures, a very special topic!

Thanks Yvette, it could be a subject also for my Battle of the Generations but ironically, I couldn't do it because I don't have... the Safari model. It is rather ironic because I had many chances of getting the Safari and I hesitated, while the Lineol I never expected to get and now I have it thanks to you. Well, I have the CollectA and Mojö models but your topic is already covering this subject with excellence.
