miniNature's 3D printing animals - Update May 20: Finally Hyenas and more

Hello all, it’s been a while I was here. A few years ago I kept you up-to-date in my old topic Animals made in 3D by miniNature. Because most images disappeared in the old topic and it’s a bit of a restart for me, it’s time for a new topic.

So I create 3D models and I can share these models with everyone who wants that model in a 3D printed version on my page at Shapeways.

Now I’m working on new stuff and I love to show you after these years again some new progress images and the first new animal is the Ostrich:


He just needs some pose, because now he’s still symmetric, but that will be something I can show you hopefully soon. I hope you'll like this new screens!

Yes, I’ll also do some more unusual animals. I’ll keep the mix between them, because I also love the regular animals and hope to do some unusual poses of them.

For the ostrich for example, I saw this picture and immediately put this on my to do list:


I worked on the ostrich model and at the moment he (or they ) are looking like this:

I love this topic, there is so much potential with 3D modelling and printing. It's so good to see you back and sharing your work

Thanks! The ostrich pair is online now. I made them in one piece. Of each bird, one foot is touching the ground and of one ostrich also a nail on the other foot is touching the ground, so it creates a tripod with a balance of the model when printed.
