Old meets young - Brown bear by Lineol meets Grizzly by Papo

The old composition Brown Bear is made by Lineol. He is from 4. Generation (1950-1965).
During this time he was important for "Wild West" figurines and he often was bought from the parents together with Indians and Cowboy figures for their children.
Even today for many collectors bears are still important figures for their Wild West dioramen.

Now we have a little meeting between Lineol Brown Bear and retired Grizzly bear by Papo. He was released in 2004.

Many companies, vintage included, favoured a lot this pose in bears. They are impressive when standing up in their hind legs. The figures is great as all Lineol 4th generation but I think some other composition companies made it in a more natural pose. The Papo figure shows how much the quality of the company improved during these years, their second generation figures are often much better than the models they replaced. That's another great comparison and a combination of figures that I doubt we can find in other collection. Very Happy
