PostSubject: 1:40 Scale Dinosaurs by Archinto   Sun May 14, 2017 7:04 am

OK This is the thread dedicated to my new one of a kind models created by DTF member Archinto.

The models in this thread WERE NOT MY CREATIONS. they were commissioned by me, and sculpted by Archinto on the Dinosaur Toy Forum.   Rremember the Styracosaurus i had made? Well i ended up tradeing that model to create this one instead because of issues with payment towards that models sculptor.

The first model i had Archinto Do is one im sure we all can recognize since you can see him in my avatar as of now

Fantastic! I love it.
The "fur" looks so soft and detailed. Surprised
Very nice to see how balanced it is, so it can stand on its own two feet.

It is a modern and interesting interpretation of this animal. Very Happy Peter Rexes are very common and it is not easy to make something different that what was already done. however, I think this figure has its own mark and that's great! Very Happy

I know fur isn't the right word for it.
That's why I put "fur" between " ". pirat

Is a modern interpretation of prehistoric animal better than a prehistoric interpretation of modern animal or is it the other way around? Laughing Wink

Update

Well Peter Has went back to Archinto for some platsic surgery, and he got himself a base while he was there.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The Reason for the return is because

1: the model was not 100% stable without the base.
2: the number of claws on the feet were wrong
3: I messed up the packageing, and he took some taumatic injurys that required extensive surgery

This base is not the final result. the final result will have grass, and other decrotive items on it

I did not make him. I commisioned A forum member on the Dino toy Forum to create him.

He is made out of mostly Sculpy, and the arms and feet are made out of Epoxy. He also has a Metal Skeleton inside of him.
