| You did an awesome paintjob Miguel! It’s very lovely to see someone turning a model, I only see in one tone when I created it, now in such color. Thanks for shearing! This material is indeed a bit different material than the more expensive normal resins (frosted ultra/extreme detail). This White Strong and Flexible material is made out of nylon powder, so it gives it a little grainy feeling. I see the grainy effect looks great on the body, with the paint giving it a bit furry look, so not that bad for animal models . _________________ Stijn. My Site with 3D Printable Animals

| Thank you Andreas and Stijn ! Stijn, I find it very interesting that you say because despite the fact that the texture of 3D printing is very suitable to imitate the hair of certain figures. I can think of the texture of the hair of a lion or leopard. _________________ Miguel Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| You did also an awesome job on the dik-dik Miguel! On the computer I can zoom as close as I want, but painting such small models are challenging indeed. - signatus wrote:

Yes, like you see on the 3D renders in my topic, it’s possible to model the tiny details, but because the White Strong and Flexible material is the cheapest material to print, it also comes with a bit lower detailed accuracy than the Frosted Detail Plastics. For some type of models, that’s a downside, but indeed for most type of animals, like also the cats, that’s totally no problem. _________________ Stijn. My Site with 3D Printable Animals

Stijn,You have reason to say that there is no problem the material a little more rough in certain species because it gives more texture and in the other hand I really almost go crazy painting this miniature, I do not want to think what will be the Dik-Dik in 1:22 scale Yes, true, but other animals like for example reptiles, where you want the smooth scales, it’s good to know that they will be a bit more rough. But no reptiles at the moment yet and when they are come, there is also a polished version of that material and otherwise the other material. I can’t also offer the dik-dik in the white material, because he is too thin for that printer. Luckily I created the dik-dik and not the Zebra Duiker, around the same size in model, but also the needs to paint the stripes. _________________ Stijn. My Site with 3D Printable Animals

| I understand perfectly what you say Stijn as far as reptiles are concerned. And one figure as small as the dik-dik has to be made with material in detail, but would miss the whole shape. Oh no, what torture to paint so many duiker stripes, thank you! _________________ Miguel Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| Thanks for showing them, Miguel! I'm going to enjoy them very much! Great work with painting, as usual! And pictures are really great, I love especially the one showing both the male impala and the dik dik, because you can easily see the size difference between them...
Greetings! |

| Thank you very much for your words javito !! The truth is that I really enjoyed painting them and, as you say, I find the two figures together on the same scale very interesting to see how different they are. _________________ Miguel Likaon - Wildlife Models Shop http://www.likaonmodels.com/ My homemade models : www.signatustudio.com |

| Your paint work is so impressive in such small figures and in a material that you're not very used with. It is also impressive how these impalas in different poses work as a herd. Perfect for a diorama! |

| Great work as always. I should have gotten the impala Juvenal at a small scale as a fawn. _________________ Shawn
