Fidda is so gute
I also love salukis. They are just wonderful dogs.
I was bored to wait to get saluki in any brand, so I made my own. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
The color is still not ready. I really don't like the head...

Very nice dogs Susanne, and your Saluki is fantastic, i just love those gazehounds!
The name wolfSpitz is the correct German name, and the English name Pomeranian, originates from Pommeren in Germany, from which place these dogs were imported to other countries in the first place.
The name Keeshond is really 100% Dutch, and they think that the Dutch patriots in the 18th century had a lot of those dogs, and one of the most known was named Cees(which is old Dutch for Kees) as his frontname, so they named him after this person.
We had a smaller version of this dogbreed in the past, but after a while it was recognised as the same dog as the breed from Germany, although somewhat smaller.
My grandfather from fathers side had a dog like this(grey wolfspitz), and it was not the friendliest dog that i can remember, as i was afraid of him when i was a kid...
