Humpback Whale Calf

After purchasing the Monterey Bay Aquarium Humpback Whale adult over the summer and I was debating on whether or not I should hunt her calf or not. Recently, I found her baby on eBay and immediately decided that she needed the calf.

And here is the little (or should I say big?) bundle of joy. Sorry for the bad quality of photos.

I ended up naming her Ebony. And here she is with mom, Nova. I still can't get over how tiny she is compared to the adult.
Or how glossy she is compared to my adult.

Although even though Nova dwarfs her baby, Ebony is still as long as my hand. So she's not that tiny.

Overall, I love this model, and I think she fits very well with the adult despite the paint differences.

Wonderful model And rare

These huge models from Monterey Bay/Safari are so wonderful, and so impressive.
Having one in the hand is - as you say - having a bundle of joy in your hand

The Monterey Bay Aquarium series is one of the most remarkable sealife series in this hobby. All figures are true collectibles and most are really excellent. I think your decision of acquiring that baby is the correct and it is wonderful how it works together with the adult. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
