WHAT ARE THOSE

Very not my favorite. A let down, because the promopics looked better, nah schleich nah.

+ Mane Structure
+ Head Shape

- WHAT THE FFFF ARE THOSE BRAIDS???
- What even is her body shape?

Maybe her tail got stuck between the stable door as a foal?
Those braids are indeed a shame. But the manes are overal quite nice.
Her chest and frondlegs are to low, correct? Anatomy isn’t my forte.

So you got her already

Her legs and neck are 'implanted' oddly to my feeling.
At least she looks better than her hubby...

I have ten models of 2018 now and 5 more on the mail atm. I will next week buy the Hippo, Zebra mare and Arctic Fox.

It is getting hard to make a very positive comment to some Schleich horses these days. I really love the old Holsteiner - a traditional old Schleich sculpt. Obviously the old version needed some update, a richer texture and a less glossy painting but it is still a good figure in my opinion. This new Holstein, called like that by Schleich, is just one more of these doll-like horses that seem to be inspired in the same character. As I said some years ago, there are two brands called Scheich, it is obvious when referring to horses and my favorite is the old brand.

If I have a bigger place to set up a more profesh photo booth, I might just review every horse I own.

The body is very short for a sport horse. This body fits better with an Andalusian or an Arabian. Warm-blood studbooks, as Holsteiner, are known for long horses (it is true that in the very early decades this is changing).

Shoulders aren't sport shoulders. Sport horses (specially dressage and jumping ones) have very ankle shoulders to jump high and make beautiful movements. This lady hasn't got them.

So, if this mare were real and she were presented in a Holsteiner show, I have no doubt that she won't be accepted as a qualify mare.

I don;t think so, this model is far broader

Also definitely not my favourite. I agree with you on the cons. Her body and tail are awkward, plus that long neck, it seems to me like it is combination of several different types of horses. I like the idea of nice trot, but it didn't landed, the capture of movement is not good.

It is indeed a very 'pasted together' model which is really too bad.
